  I've never found a place where I feel like a guest instead of a customer like this place. When we go on we ask the owner to pick for us and we've always been pleasantly surprised with the choices!
  
  Food: Everything tastes homemade, if this isn't an authentic taste of various African food I can't imagine what is.
  
  Price: It's not cheap for some of their best dishes, and all have been well worth the spend.
  
  Environment: Charming and a bit in disrepair, having been to a handful of third world country this rings true to me as an experience I would expect there. Don't let it get in the way for you.
  
  Customer service: Top notch!
  
  Will return: As often as we can!

  Being extremely hungry and not from the area, my group of friends decided to be "that guy" and walk in to the African Grill and Bar 10 minutes before closing, rather than going to the Taco Bell in the same shopping center. We were warmly welcomed in by the owner and treated with great hospitality. At no time were we rushed and the owner was very patient with our many questions about the food.
  
  I ordered the cabbage stew with chicken and jollof rice -- it was delicious. It was very well seasoned and the chicken was tender. My friends tried the jerk stew and fufu peanut soup as well. Altogether, the food was very good and the service was attentive (as we were also the only ones there).
  
  Normally I'd just give 4 stars for this, but the service really sets this place apart. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I'd definitely stop here again if I'm in the Denver area.
